We are living in a very turbulent, transformative time in which we are asked to look in and ask ourselves: what is it that I really want? Then we are asked to take action accordingly. So many people experience this transformation as confusion about different areas of life, whether this is career, relationships, health or wealth.

We live in an interesting society. We are asked at a very young age what we want to achieve or become when we grow up. Quite often what our heart desires is not in line with what our parents or society expects us to be. We learn quickly that when we are ‘educated’, when we get a degree of some sort, we can become someone, we can make it in life, we will experience success.

So known or unknown to us, we brush aside what we truly want, in order to fulfill society’s desire for us so we can ‘become someone’, and really ‘make it in life’. We might get a big house, fancy car, family, the whole shebang, and still we feel something is missing. When this goes on for a long time we might not even remember what we are truly passionate about, what makes our heart sing.

Because of this engrained idea that we have to know what we want and stick to it for the rest of our lives, we might become fearful of making a decision of what we want to experience. Because of this fear we might not decide at all. This is also a decision that usually makes us feel tired, depressed and unfulfilled. What if you would know that you can never make a wrong decision? That you can choose again and again?

Life is very much like a sailing trip. On a sail boat there are strings attached to the sail that are called “tell tails”. The sailor keeps an eye on the tell tails to see if the sail is catching the maximum amount of wind. If not, the tell tail will drop. When this happens the sailor will adjust the sail so it can be used to its full potential. Like this, we can always adjust our ”inner” sails. Of course every decision has a consequence. But no matter what the consequence is, we can always adjust our inner sail and change direction.

The beautiful thing is that we do not have to figure anything out. We can relax, enjoy the ride, and let life unfold perfectly. Life actually has always done that, but we think we have something to do with it. When we keep being in awareness, watching our inner tell tails, we know when to adjust the sails and when not to. It will be very clear. Let the wind of existence blow in your sails so that you can enjoy life, letting it unfold the way it is supposed to. What a relief! You don’t have to know anything. Just relax and breathe, letting the breath of existence blow in your inner sails. Enjoy the ride!

There are interesting energies all around, have you been noticing?

A lot of energies have been contributing to an enhancement of energies and moods. If you have been observing you will see this is the perfect time to practice remembering that what's going on isn't personal!

If you find those around you blowing up or creating drama (whether or not they are including you) remember this thought…

“It isn't personal, it has nothing to do with me!”

If you have to write it down on 10 post it notes and plaster them all around your environment to remember, then do that. It takes maybe two minutes to do this and the rewards and benefits can last for you up to a lifetime.

Keep in mind, the way we choose to act or react is 100% about us, 100% of the time. When someone chooses to act or react negatively in any way it's your cue to make the choice to step back.

A way to step back is by first taking a deep breath, then remember this isn't personal, it has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with the person behaving badly. Have you considered this already? If so what conclusions did you come to?

If you a need a little help with this one you can think of it like this, a jury can only convict a defendant when they find there has been sufficient proof to show beyond a reasonable doubt that the person did the crime they are being tried for.

In your case is it at all possible that the person behaving badly (the defendant in this analogy) has other reasons to be behaving that way? Is it even remotely possible that they may have reasons that go way beyond the current situation which is the true root of the behaviour? Is it possible these energies are being projected outward as a delayed reaction to what happened earlier in their day? Is it at all possible that this person is exhausted and drained of focus or stamina? Maybe they received terribly disturbing news two minutes before these circumstance came up.

If you can say yes to any of these questions then this is your reasonable doubt. It is practical to conclude based on this alone that maybe it really doesn't have anything to do with you. Try practicing this form of detachment to give yourself an opportunity to step out of the toxic, negative energies and into your own desired ones.

In the event you have already taken on the negative and toxic energies from a person, place or thing, you can let go of these energies by using appropriate releasing techniques. There is no need to be influenced and affected by toxic situations, people, or places for prolonged periods.

Signs you’re being affected from toxicity:

This is an easy one…when you experience any negatives feelings or thoughts, whether they originate within or from external sources.

A quick example of what you can do to let go of any toxic energies for any possible reason, would be to hug a tree. As silly as this may sound it is really very effective. This is because the tree is one of many sources from the earth we can turn to that knows how to transform these negative, toxic energies into positives, useful ones. Think of like this, the tree uses all that "crap" as fertilizer. This fertilizer helps the tree to grow and flourish. I challenge you to try it, you might be surprised at just how effective it is!

A busy month Taurus! This is a great time to get caught up on almost everything…if you utilize your time wisely though! If you’re not up to speed on time management then you might find yourself running behind, working like crazy and getting nothing done to boot! Otherwise this could be a highly productive time…your ideas are flowing like a powerful river, communication plays a central role this month as does socializing & getting caught up with friends & family. Your ruling planet Venus pairs up with the Sun which allows you to feel more confident about yourself. Your creativity is high as is your desire to find the time to play & have some fun!

Gemini
Get back to your roots Gemini! This is a time where you need to pay some attention within your home or family… if you’ve needed to communicate with someone within your family about something or just talk to them more often this would be a great time! It could be that you simply have to deal with some house hold chores, cleaning, fixing up, renovating or repair work. This is also a good time to reconnect with your inner child…find the time to incorporate more play or fun into your life. Your planetary ruler Mercury connects with the Moon this month so don’t be surprised if you’re a little moodier or emotional than normal… remember your sign is about communication so don’t be afraid to communicate your feelings! Spend some time nurturing yourself.

Cancer
A month of routines awaits Cancer. This could be one of those months for many Cancerians that just sort of fly by…no news is good news as they say! For others it will be a time to catch up on your work, your skills, services & knowledge may be in higher demand than usual…organize schedule & budget your time. Be careful not to overwork, you may find your body protesting with a bug such as a cold or flu, muscle or joint problems; it’s just its way of saying…hey slow down! Happy birthday Leo! This is your month to shine within the relationships in your life…that is all relationships that you have a close connection or partnership with. Try to be more diplomatic and exercise empathy. A good way to become a better diplomat & peacemaker is to try and see yourself in someone else’s shoes. That can help you to become less judgemental & add greater perspective to decision making. This is a good time to reconnect with friends, invitations abound! Romance is strong with your partners, for singles love opportunities knock on your door! Your ruler the Sun connects with the Moon this month…find the proper outlets to express yourself emotionally. Find some time for self-reflection, spend time with family & beautify or balance your home.

Virgo
Organize your social life this month Virgo. Round up those folks (i.e. your friends!) whom you’ve been meaning to call for the last 6 months and have a BBQ or night out! This is also a great time to fix up or heal any wounds that may exist within your relationships. Don’t be surprised if you find many people coming to you for your help or advice. The need to employ diplomatic skills or tactics may arise…windows open up for conflict resolution, take advantage of the opportunity & take the initiative! You’re in problem solving mode Libra! No halfway measures for you this month…you just have the urge to delve deeper into things than normal. This is a great time for all kinds of research, investigation and analysis work. You’re on a quest for the truth & indeed truths come out this month from both people & places. Focus on healing work, this is a great time to clean & detoxify anything in your life that no longer serves a purpose or is holding you back, look at where you may have fallen into some bad habits and make the necessary changes.
